  WTF? If WBBR was so good, why stop it in the first place.....Was that Jehovahs hand?

  He talks in a way that Video on the internet has just been invented, idiot.

  There's so many bullshit departments being made in and outside of bethel, that will keep the masses busy. Too busy to question what they are actually wasting their life doing.

  Seriously guys, it doesn't take much to set up a little studio, stick 1 or 2 cameras in front of people, and stick it on the internet....They are using all these expensive cameras, where they could be using middle of the road stuff which does the same job.

  Stick a load of pre recorded videos on a cloud and stream them to conventions....

  Can someone please tell me why that is so difficult???...

  The IDEA of living in a paradise is, for me, something desirable.

  Living by the sea, planting and eating your own crops year around. It would be great.

  That's where my IDEA of paradise ends. I would want to do what i want, when i want.

  Of course, in JW land, we can not do what we want.

  I've always thought, IF it was real, and i did acctually make it to paradise, i probably wouldn't last long anyway.

  Then i remember it's all made up bull shit anyway.

  after listening to the hearings of the australian royal commission into institutional responses to child sexual abuse, i am no longer content to have simply walked away from the organization.

  as a matter of conscience, i do not want my name linked with the organization in any way.

  i know this letter has been posted previously, and i thank the author.

  in todays news from australia it appears that, despite his previous declination to appear when invited, justice mcclellan from the australian royal commission on child sex abuse will officially summon brother geoffrey jackson to the stand after all.. ..... the commission was due to conclude its hearings into the jehovahs witnesses on wednesday but justice mcclellan said he will now call geoffrey jackson, a senior member of the churchs governing body in new york who is currently in australia, to appear next week.. .

  It's a lose lose for Jackson and the GB

  If he turns up and answers questions, it will be be all over the news.

  If he doesn't turn up for whatever reason it will be all over the news.

  If he goes to Jail, he may face rejection of entry back into U.S.A. And i doubt he will get a fine. The RC knows the riches of the JWs.

  Which means he will probably turn up. Which means it is is going to be all over the news.

  Australian Royal Commission - What can the Governing Body do?

  as far as i am aware, it's not within the power of the australian royal commission to call as a witness a non-australian.

  it is confined to dealing with the jws and child abuse as it is handled within australia.

  it is clear from the testimonies so far that it is the branch office that gives the elders direction as prescribed ultimately by the governing body.. there are two witnesses who have been called up to attend the rc from the branch office in sydney, one is rodney spinks from the service desk and the other is vincent o'toole, overseer of the legal department.

  I think someone should make the court aware that Geoffrey Jackson is indeed Australian.

  You would think that the RC has enough power to get him over.

  What are he chances of 7 GB members, and one just happens to be Australian?

  the press is reporting that over 1,000 cases of abuse were hidden from authorities in australia.. australia has around 68,000 publishers.. if you that ratio applied to the u.s. also, there could be over 14,700 cases that were covered up here.. if the ratio held the same worldwide, that would be over 117,600 cases.. just let that sink in a little..

  I think they have been given an impossible task IMHO

  What confuses me, is if these guys think its impossible, and are stressed and don't agree with the "rules" in dealing with sex offenders, why didn't they all go on strike or something. Or refuse to work?

  Safety in numbers. The GB can't get rid of all the lawyers and solicitors. It will be suicide for the GB.
